Official Bio
Dr. Reza Jarral is a Harkness Fellow at the Commonwealth Fund and a Stanford DICE Scholar at the Clinical Excellence Research Center. As the founding Chief Medical Officer at CareHQ, he scaled New Zealand's largest primary telehealth platform, delivering award-winning digital access covering millions of patients.
A physician trained at Imperial College London, Dr. Jarral has led pioneering work in ethical AI in health, collaborating with the World Health Organization and IEEE on the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. He served as the inaugural Clinical Director for Health Equity at New Zealand's largest primary health organization, driving system-wide change across the delivery of $1.4B in community care services.
His transdisciplinary leadership has been recognized by The Rockefeller Foundation, Acumen Academy, and Imperial College London, where he received the Emerging Alumni Leader Award. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, and the Royal Colleges of General Practitioners of England and New Zealand.
